2019 Winner

Rose Bonner

Neontribe spend a lot of our time in tech-for-good projects. Rose came to us from MIND, the mental health charity, so she already had deep domain expertise. What she shows time and time again is her commitment to understanding how people think and behave and leading change in our development work off that knowledge. Specifically, using analytics and service lead insights on Haven we decided to completely ditch contact us via email and use live chat instead. I’d never have made that recommendation without her work – she observed at the time “Pretty easy decision as it looks like people only ever clicked on it accidentally”. Another customer has decided to rebrand their entire organisation after her user research in one digital experiment revealed users were deeply confused as to what their name signified about their services. She’s increased our capacity to do good work. I can think of no higher praise.
