Emily has been the most requested person here at Unity Online to be put forward for this award (or awards in general). This reflects clearly her impact on the company and her effect on colleagues. Having a calm and pragmatic personality she is well suited to a career in development. Emily has been on the team for two years now and I find it difficult to remember a time when she was not. She quickly became a core member of the company. Never shies away from new or challenging tasks/projects. As a Website Developer her role is 100% technical, reasonability’s involve: – Writing bespoke data migrations (product or order history) – Deploying new servers to our cluster – Building websites from scratch – Creating integrating between two different systems via API’s – Maintaining our hosting environment she is thorough and thorough a developer. Her willingness to learn and improve makes her stand out from her colleagues. Emily is so keen to move forward with new libraries or frameworks within the team. She’s currently looking at different methods of app development. She’s always one to question why and push the status quo. It’s always great to see how she will solve coding problems or layout issues. Emily has a great impact on the morale of the team. Always bring new and different industry news, articles, ideas or code snippets to the table. Often talking about new websites, showcasing a great feature or a terrible experience.
